And finally...the blessed Holy Spirit realized that my head was about to spin off in the parking lot...and I heard a firm and loving SHUT UP!!!!!

Realizing the Power of Your Identity in Christ

If you have found yourself in the same place as me, I encourage you to read each one out loud and claim it. The enemy will try to make us question who we are. But, God's word shows us daily who we really are. Yeah, I'll step it up on the meals for friends, I'll get back into the groove of serving at church and I'll pray that God makes me a better listener and friend. But, I'll cling to the verses that remind me of who I am in Christ.
Jill, I think this post alone proves just how much of a "non-fraud" you are. I look forward to getting to know you better!
ReplyDeleteIsn't God's love amazing!!!
ReplyDeleteGod is good. I was a helper in the craft area and was lucky to help your son with the bracelet craft. I'm not sure which one...one of the older boys...afterwards I thought what a great job you are doing raising your kids. He was polite, smiled the entire time, complimented me, thanked me and was patient. So you might have had a bad day...but you have great kids.
ReplyDeleteAlso during the carnival show...my husband and I both said how great it would have been if we were children and able to experience such joy for Jesus. I looked over and saw Rod in the front row just singing his heart out. The love for Jesus just poured out of him. That is cool. Way cool.
God loves you...and we love your blog...good and bad days.

I am copying these and putting them in my bible. I think you rock.
